Positive Group (formerly Sarbacane Group) continues its European expansion by announcing the acquisition of 4Dem, its Italian competitor. This acquisition, the fourth in three years for the French group, is the second in Europe after rapidmail in Germany in 2021.

This acquisition aims to support the Positive Group’s ambition to become a European leader in digital communication for companies. After Spain, where the group is present since 2011 through its brand Mailify, and the German Speaking market with rapidmail, this alliance allows the group to conquer the Italian market and confirm its ambitions beyond its historical borders.
As with Datananas, rapidmail and Marketing1BY1, 4Dem is now a brand of the Positive Group. Synergies between these strong brands in the email marketing and automation market in their respective territories will enable the group to continue to accelerate and achieve its ambitious objectives.
To accelerate its development, the Positive Group raised a total of €133 million in two fundraising rounds between 2020 and 2022. The group's strategy is to seize acquisition opportunities that allow it to complete its product range and/or expand in Europe, in order to reach a critical size. Positive Group intends to become an entrepreneurial platform for digital innovation by relying on advanced but easy-to-use technologies, a premium support service tailored to the needs of all its clients and a strong local presence in Europe.
The Positive group, a software editor dedicated to business communication, is known for Sarbacane (Mailify outside of France), a key player in emailing in Europe since 2001. The group, based in the North of France, has since added a whole range of solutions based on its expertise to support companies in their digital communications. On a daily basis, the group supports nearly 30 000 companies around the world.
Launched in Turin in 2014, 4Dem is a business digital marketing solution specialized in sending email and SMS campaigns. 4Dem supports thousands of companies and hundreds of agencies in their digital communication and is one of the most used and appreciated platforms in Italy.
